LOVE CYCLES

Jeremiah Armenta is another one of those guys that I'm sure you've heard of but deserves a shout out anyways! Like a lot of chopper folks started out in his garage, now he has bikes and customers all over the world. In my opinion this guys doing it right, with help from his friends Love cycles has just moved in too his new spot in Phoenix. If you're in the area go pop in and check out the chopper goodies, or grab a coffee from their little coffee corner.

MAMA TRIED

Last February my wife and I had the opportunity to make the pilgrimage to Milwaukee. Best known for Harley Davidson and all the beer, and the host of our final destination the Mama Tried motorcycle show! The atmosphere and the bikes at the show were killer. Tattoos getting blasted, beers getting smashed, and amazing two wheeled machines every where you looked. I can't think of a place if rather be or any other place you should be this year when it all happens again!

Go check out the website for details. Hope to see you there!!

SHOW CLASS

Show class magazine is the real deal, if you like choppers and boobs this is for you! Every issue is out of this world with the coolest bikes and amazing photography and great articles. One of my favorite things they do is the Show class peoples champ

This is a contest that gives garage builders a chance to have their bike put in the invited builders area at the born free show. Long story short these guys are the chopper mag for the people so go give them a follow and buy some stuff!

6 OVER

image.jpg

Soo this documentary from Dice and Wild Honey has been out for a few years, but it's still one of my favorite modern day chopper flicks. I've talked about a few guys in the film on here already but this lets you jump into their lives and might show you some people you've never heard of. Give it a watch it's worth it!

RD350

image.jpg

So this isn't my usual chopper/Harley rant but a few weeks ago I met up with a new friend and he introduced me to the greatness that is known as the RD350 I just can't get over how cool a 2 stroke street bike is! Sean Byers basically completely rebuilt this orange RD and it's sooo rad!

image.jpg

After I realized how cool these bikes were I did what every self respecting motorcycle fiend does...try to find one for sale. Nothing yet, but while looking I did find this awesome RD that Brew Bikes put together for the ton-up show at sturgis.

4Q

image.jpg

Max Schaaf runs 4q conditioning out of oakland california. Max is a pro skate boarder, gnarly painter, and excellent bike builder. This dude has built so many killer bikes but the blue knuckle above is one of my favorites, my other is the black 4q knuckle with the twisted pipes. The best thing about Max's bikes is that they get ridden! He's made multiple trips across the country on his bikes. Go check out 4q you won't be disappointed.

Papa Glide

image.jpg

Β

The papa glide was built for born free 6 by the dynamic Detroit duo Ry seidler of RAS and Brad Richards The Zen Of Neato. This beautiful 58 pan head has so many incredible details that took hours and hours to fabricate. The headlight nacelle sets of the front end, the shifter in the tank blows my mind, and the exhaust and rear fender are so killer. This vintage sport bike inspired chopper esque machine along with the guys that built it are putting Detroit on the motorcycle map.

Double Diamond

Tom Fugle Is one of the most bad ass guys to live this chopper life. Tom has been building and riding choppers for the last 50 years and at 72 he still rides rigid bikes. His latest creation is the Double diamond that he built for born free 6. This panhead is other worldly from the engine to the frame to the iridescent multi spectral paint Tom created. At born free 6 the Double Diamond won its self and Tom a trip to the moon eyes show in Japan. a well deserved honor for one of the pioneers of custom Harleys and choppers in general. Just so you know what this guys all about ill leave you with this quote "I love to build and ride choppers, as it is an expression of my art. I guess that's because I've always been artistic. I feel that those who ride stock bikes must be autistic. So what I'm trying to say is; "Ride choppers or fuck off!"

At The Risers

Jason webber is the guy behind At The Risers out of Anaheim, California. All though I don't know him personally, from everything I've seen, read, and heard this dude is awesome. At The Risers makes a ton of cool chopper stuff and Jason builds some gnarly bikes like his knuckle Head he calls "Triclops". In the chopularity contest this dude doesn't take him self to serious and always kills it! So give him a follow and buy some stuff!

Brooklyn Invitational

image.jpg

This weekend Brooklyn will be over run with two wheeled hooligans for the 6th annual Brooklyn Invitational. The White Knights in The House of Color have been putting this grass roots, real deal custom bike show on for the last few years. Which draws in Chopper addicts from all over the world to the streets of New York to check out all of the amazing bikes from the invited builders. But judging from last year I'm sure the bikes in the street will put on just as good of a show. So if you're anywhere near the East coast I suggest you get there an partake in the party and see which bike gets to head over to japan for the Mooneyes show!

A R G U S

Recently we had Argus front man Steven Perkins over to HQ and talked to him about all the good things they have rolling out this Fall/Winter. Oh and because the timing of these posts, regrettably the Slipknot cover set they rocked at Paychecks already happened two days ago! But you can still catch them at the Stray From the Path Show next month as well as rumors that our friends on the North side of the border will get to enjoy their company soon as well.

Make sure you guys watch this music video for their song "IMPRISONED"
