DESPITE HIS AGE...ZELOOPERZ HAS BEEN KILLING IT FOR A WHILE NOW. ALTHOUGH HE HAS BEEN BROUGHT UP WITHT THE BRUISER BRIGADE. WE FEEL LIKE HE IS THE ONE WHO IS GETTING IT RIGHT. THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT HIS DELIVERY WE JUST GET. ALTHOUGH THIS NEW TRACK IS ALL HYPE. WE STILL HAVE MAD LOVE FOR WHAT HE'S DOING! CHECK OUT HIS NEW VIDEO FOR HIS TRACK "I SHOULD BE DEAD"
WELL THE WILSON BOYS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. A NEW RECORD, INTERNATIONAL TOURS, AND SPENDING THEIR DAYS BANGING THEIR HEADS THOUSANDS OF FANS. WITH ALL OF THIS TIME ON THE ROAD THEY HAVENT LOST THEIR ROOTS HERE IN DETROIT.

"When we wrote the song we wanted to tell a story about the area of the world we live in. After traveling so much the past few years we realize the magnifying glass that the media has put on Detroit has damaged not only our city’s image but more importantly our PEOPLES’ image. We all struggle with life's weight no matter where we live in this world...our peoples’ story is not unlike the millions of other people out there put against the wall daily, cast aside as underdogs and thought of as "already dead". It's through the struggle to survive in those conditions that we create our strengths.
What we’ve tried to achieve visually is to tell a story thru the POV of a pack of dogs moving thru the blight of our city; the places most identifiable to the rest of the world. The abandoned house the band is performing in starts to crumble as the "underdogs" move from the rubble of our past into the present parts of Detroit's rebuild, showing our people coming together in strength to unite as one. It’s a picture of hope and growth through hard work, resilience and ingenuity, while honoring our past as we rise towards our future.

WHEN I TALKED TO DAVE AND ANDY ABOUT THIS PROJECT A WHILE BACK, THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE EXCITED TO BRING IT BACK TO THEIR HEAVY ROOTS AND JUST LET LOOSE. WE THINK YOU GUYS WILL BE IMPRESSED BY THE SOLID LYRICS AS WELL AS FIND SOMETHING TO BANG YOUR HEAD TO.

As part of the backstage series Founder's new release is exactly what the name implies: dank. It's a red ale but thanks to the generous amount of hops it's also an IPA. Chinook, mosaic and simcoe are featured here along with caramalt and roasted barley. It's a very big, very juicy and sticky brew that I'll honestly be buying more bottles of. Nice frothy crystal head, big 9.5% abv and a punch to the pallet at 90ibu's. The perfect release as fall starts to creep in. I haven't heard if this was kegged but there seems to be plenty of bottles to go around. Cheers!

WE ARE SO PROUD BECAUSE IN LESS THAN A WEEK WILSON WILL BE RELEASING THEIR SECOND FULL LENGTH ALBUM "RIGHT TO RISE." Mad props to Red Bull Detroit for doing what myself and I know others, have wanted to do since we were kids: To Ride the Silver Dome! For those who who don't know, the Silver Dome is the old Detroit Lions Stadium. Every time I came to the SD growing up, I couldn't help but size up every wall, stairs or rails in a Tony Hawk Pro Skater kind of way. Always imagining that I could actually land all of these tricks without totally killing myself. Now years after the dome has retired. Red Bull chose one special kid to fullfill my childhood dream. This lucky duck is a local Detroit BMX rider is named Tyler Fernengel!
Again mad props to everyone involved. We are full of envy and we are definitely "Not" going to break in as soon as possible to ride it for ourselves! Check the video out here !

If you are anything like me, I love when I smoke some green that motivates my creativity to the point that I can't stop whatever project that I start til its finished. Mother's Helper is by far one of those strains. I absolutely love the earthy sweet smell and taste. It will have your head on cloud 9 for hours. This strain is a hybrid of the sativa Chocolope and the indica Northern Lights #5. The mix of is compared to heaven and hell for how completely opposite the two strains are. Mother's Helper is the type of smoke that leaves you feeling positive, creative and stoked on life. I hear a lot of patients like to have this strain around for anxiety, stress, headaches, pain and any type of depression. I would have to get it an A++ for its capability to knock down any writers block you might have. If you find Mother's Helper, I recommend you buy all of it and save as much as you can. When I think of reflective clothes, I just think of a traffic conductor, the people I see running every morning, or your average bicyclist. For the most part, I've only seen reflective clothes be more for fitness purpose. The first time I've ever heard of this reflective fabric being used in fashion, was when Alexander McQueen created these looks on the runway for his 2004 Fall Collection in Paris.
So how does it work? Well, first things first, not to be confused with A glow in the dark SURFACE that works as simple as turnING the lights out and that's how it glows. However, reflective objects and fabrics, work off of a separate source of light like a flashlight, camera flash, head lights, etc, to flash light back at you! It's initial purpose was to be able to be seen in the night time, for safety reasons of course. So bikers, police officers, runners, and traffic directors wear reflective vests, and reflective patches, to avoid being hit by cars if they're out at night! At first glance, the reflective material itself usually just looks like a almost metallic grey surface, but when a light is pointed on the material, it reflects back, giving off the white luminescent glow!
More recently, the flashy reflective look taking on more than just a sporty look, and it's slowly evolving to be more of a casual/street style trend. NIKE specifically has started to run with this trend, and while still being a sports oriented brand, most people wear NIKE as more of a fashion statement nowadays. Like most sport oriented brands, the logos on their shoes or apparel would be reflective, so if the wearer is on a run at night, and a car is coming by, they can be spotted and avoided easily. The trend is on the come up as a flashy thing for pictures! I see this trend in men's fashion a lot, but I need to see my ladies wearing this look more! It looks sick on men and women alike!
I recently came across a United Kingdom based clothing and accessories company called LFLECT who incorporates reflective elements in all of their pieces, with everything from head-bands, apparel, and even reflective yarn and iron-ons, so you like to DIY like I do, you can make your own custom reflective pieces! I haven't gotten my hands on any reflective pieces yet, but it is definitely at the top of the list of my must haves for Spring 2015.

PIZZA FEST IS FINALLY HERE! JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY AND WE GET TO CELEBRATE THE TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OUR BOYS AT CTHULHU ENTERTAINMENT!
