So we had a really great time shooting up at the sand dunes this past wk with Jen Drewyore Beck and our good friends Brittlind and LB. Meet Illma Gore, the brilliant artist behind the infamous painting of Donald Trump hunched over with a micropenis, that has swept the face of the internet within the last couple of months. I've been following following Illma's instagram for quite awhile now, because of her Human Canvas project (I'll get to that in a minute,) and when this piece of Donald Trump started circulating, and finding out Illma was the one responsible for it, it made me sooooo happy! The illustration has cause quite a bit of controversy, and in turn social media pages like Facebook, Twitter, and even eBay have tried to censor and ban Illma and those who are sharing the image from their internet platforms. I first came across Illma when I heard about this artist who was getting people's names and stories tattooed on her body for just $10 through her Human Canvas GoFundMe Page. Through this gesture, people just donate at least $10 and submit what name, nickname, phrase, etc they would want tattooed on her body. Illma has had live tattooing exhibitions of her having these submissions tattooed on her. I'd love to add to her tattoo project! She's inspirational, she won't backdown, even when threatened by Facebook to be taken to court, to defend her art, and free expression.
LA Weekly has said "Artists like her make life beautiful. Well, more beautiful than life is... Without people like her, we would have no creativity in this world."

ok so we arent sure if many of you have ever seen this before! Mainly because it never made its way to dvd or blue ray! but this movie is twisted as fuck but its crazy good! Check out the trailer here!
I've gone over a bunch of different strains and wax. Now, its time to talk about some edibles. There are a bunch of different types of edibles you can make. Anything from brownies to even fried chicken. What i'm going to talk today is True Labs Co2 chocolate covered Oreos. In all honesty, these could be considered dangerous because of how delicious they are. I call these crack cookies because as soon as you take a bite, you want another one. There are a few methods of making edibles. The most popular to the public would be canna-butter. But, that isn't the only way. You can also use Co2 oil or even use wax to make edibles. Im which both of these methods tend to be stronger. The chocolate cover oreos are made with 44mg of Co2 oil. The perks of using Co2 oil over canna-butter is the taste and potency. Canna-butter tends to taste a lot like weed and sometimes seems weak because its hard to distribute how much goes into a product evenly. Co2 is very easy to spread out in food so it has a more even potency throughout the products. The Ture Labs Oreos are absolutely great for low tolerance patients that aren't fans of smoking but need a natural sedative. They are fantastic for pain relief and insomnia. Hopefully you get to enjoy one or two during this winter hibernation months!!! -Colin
Yesterday, I was getting my hair cut, with my girlfriend, and when I hopped out of the chair, she said she found this website that she knew I would want everything on. When she showed me what she was talking about, she specifically was on the "Feminista" page, with a million feminist shirts and accessories. Instantly, I was hooked.

I wish I would have found this website earlier this month, and I would have done a lot of my Christmas shopping from here, because there's really something for just about anybody, on LookHuman! I really just have a general appreciation for witty, funny t shirts, mugs, home decor, and things of that nature, so this website was definitely a really great find on the behalf of Sarah!

In celebration of this weeks Force Awakens premier we present to you Death Star! Finally an indica that is appropriate for night and day time. Of course it would be named after Star Wars. Death Star is a blend of the indica strain Sensi Star and the sativa Sour Diesel. Both strains have such dramatic effects that you would think the high from them being put together would drive you insane. Death Star is known to be a heavy indica, which is true but, the amount of euphoria that it takes from its sativa side is amazing. This strain is recommended for daytime or nighttime. It has great pain relief and tones of mental help. I would say this is a great strain to keep around for an anytime use. Its fairly popular now-a-days so, i'm sure you won't have trouble finding it! Well we met the Our Vices dudes this past summer at Knocked Up fest! The dudes had a great set and definitely brought it hard. I rember the guitarists Jon with his wireless set up, basically running around the crowd trying to get them into it! A few weeks ago, I touched on a cannabis product that most of us stoners call dabs. This week i'm going to talk about one of the methods you take dabs. Dab rigs are essentially bongs for the most part. They do make dab pipes but, they are absolutely awful and I don't recommend using them. The way you use dab rigs is a bit different.... Some say that it reminds them of how you would smoke crack and in which is why some don't partake in a dab sessions. You can use any normal water bong. The only extra pieces you need is a torch, dab nail and a dabber. Dab nails are made out of either quartz, ceramic or titanium. Each nail has different benefits. Dabbers are a glass or titanium rod that you use to touch the dab (wax) to the dab nail. You consume the dab by heating the nail with the torch then taking the dabber with the wax on the end of it and putting to the heated nail. The reason that dabbing is even popular is because it sedates you more than any other way of consuming marijuana. For patients with pain, some say it works better than the best narcotic. For stoners, they say it feels like the first time they've ever smoked again. Dabbing is the ultimate high. Peace! -Colin
It's the biggest selling alcoholic item since Mike's hard lemonade. It sells more pallets a week than Bud or Miller. If you haven't had one yet there's a good possibility that you're dead, or just can't seem to find it. Grabbed off shelves as fast as it's put up. Brewed by Smalltown brewery at first but now contracted out and produced by the place where fourloko is made. I shouldn't have to tell you this tastes exactly like root beer, except after a few of these you may start to feel a little funny thanks to a 5.9% abv. Little did you know they also make a 19.5% abv version that goes into a nice 22oz bottle. Personally, I can only handle the sweetness of just one of these but by no means is it a bad root beer. However, the snob in me that I hate to whip out must tell you; this is not beer and it is certainly not craft beer. Nothing produced on a scale of its size can be considered craft. That being said, none of that information should stop you from imbibing this beverage. To each their own. Now go get drunk. Cheers!

More of these please. Much like one of my favorite beers (evil twin's sour bikini) this is a sour ipa. Very much on the session end too even though the hops are very present. Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy and Experimental Hop 522 dry-hopping with lactobacillus for souring. Nice malt profile as well. Juicy but not too much. And a great amount of tangy sour like a granny Smith Apple. This and all of New Belgium's sour beers are incredible. I can't wait to see what they keep cranking out. Only downside here? Draft only! Good luck as this beer is surely one to try. Cheers!

Aya Sato and Bambi are two women from Japan who basically do it all! The first time I had seen them was while aimlessly scrolling through Facebook, and coming across a video of these two badass babes dancing their asses off, looking cool as hell doing it too! Of course being the Japanese fashion nerd I am, I was instantly interested by just what they were wearing. It was when I researched a little further, that I realized that they were a couple, and I fell even more in love.
Talented on all levels, Aya and Bambi are models, photographers, fashion icons, and most impressively dancers! The two are madly in love, engaged to be married, and they are not shy about it, despite Japan isn't a gay marriage legal country. The two are able to do what they love together, and that's so inspirational. I'm so tired of hearing this, but.... GOALS. Their following on social media is expanding by the day! Aya and Bambi have been working side by side with the queen Madonna herself, as her backup dancers! CLICK HERE to watch Madonna, Aya and Bambi performing 'Living for Love' on The Ellen Show from earlier this year! An absolutely visually Vile performance! The two were also spotted on the Vogue Magazine Instagram page modeling/dancing in "The 10 Best Bridal Dresses of the Season." I can't wait to see what their wedding is like, and what they end up wearing!
I'm such a sucker for Japanese fashion of all sorts, and they are doing it all right. The fishnets, platforms, harnesses, leather, lace, spikes, buckles, chains, all black everything, body piercings, shaved hair and typically dark makeup all just work so well together. Somewhere between BDSM and 80's punk fashion, Aya and Bambi are truly a different breed of fashionistas! Dancing in this fashion seems like it would be very hard to do, but nothing could stop these ladies. Keep an eye out for this power couple, I see them going very far! Even if their style isn't quite your cup of tea, I'm sure you'll at least be able to appreciate their spectacular dancing because it's really like nothing I've ever seen before!

Mad props to Red Bull Detroit for doing what myself and I know others, have wanted to do since we were kids: To Ride the Silver Dome! For those who who don't know, the Silver Dome is the old Detroit Lions Stadium. Every time I came to the SD growing up, I couldn't help but size up every wall, stairs or rails in a Tony Hawk Pro Skater kind of way. Always imagining that I could actually land all of these tricks without totally killing myself. Now years after the dome has retired. Red Bull chose one special kid to fullfill my childhood dream. This lucky duck is a local Detroit BMX rider is named Tyler Fernengel!
Again mad props to everyone involved. We are full of envy and we are definitely "Not" going to break in as soon as possible to ride it for ourselves! Check the video out here !

So it's been a couple weeks, but things have been crazy since the last time I had a piece together for you guys. I hope y'all got to check out Berserker Fest, I heard it was a killer time. Meanwhile, when I was at Pizza Show at the stick- I saw some ridiculous live music that could have easily rivaled the lineups in ferndale, and I got to see punk bands at the Magic Stick(RIP) one last time before the "EDM scene"(blech) got it's chance to puke all over it. One band in particular caught my eye: Lake Effect.
These dudes hail from Port Huron, MI, and they fucking killed it live. Super raw, emotionally charged melodic hardcore homegrown in our own little angsty mitten. I love it. I bought a shirt and got to meet the dudes, as they were stationed right next to the vile merch at the show. Honestly the nicest, down to earth guys ever. Their most recent EP is titled "History" and you can snag it from bandcamp. They are presently writing a new batch of tracks to be released as well(as per their facebook page), so keep your eyes peeled- I'll probably be pulling a write-up on that bitch ASAP once it's done! MI kids- these dudes play out a bit, so make sure you catch them. They fucking bring it live! Make sure you say hi to them, and tell them Toph sent ya ;)

Fucking dope, right?!? I think that jam might be my favorite on the whole set, so it's no surprise they've used it as the teaser. I just love how heavy and pretty the music gets behind the super raw split vocals. And it's sooooo tight, man- tight like your mom. I think you're adopted. There's no way a baby came outta there!

The first bike I ever owned was a Honda CB750c. It was a cruiser, and at the time, not my taste, but I definitely loved it. From the moment that I parked that bike in my friends garage, I started tearing it apart. I grew up loving the look of flat trackers and scramblers, so I became acquainted with my bike, and got to work.
There were moments where I wanted to kick the bike on its side and just set it ablaze, and there were other moments where everything came together so perfectly. More times than not, the frustrating moments were the ones that have the most memorable stories. I was lucky to have friends that would come over and guide me or jump in and help tear down this bike, and rebuild it as I dreamed. This aspect of the riding community is one of my favorite parts: the stories of riding and brotherhood.
Every bike has a story to tell, and every rider has a handful of stories to go along with the bike, and the artists at Stories of Bike are passionate about telling those stories. Shot mostly in Australia, they beautifully document riders, explore their bikes, and talk about what drives their obsession.
So as some may know, I work at an H&M here in Raleigh. As a very trendy store, lots of trendy people come through, so of course, I get to see every current trend that I've been scrolling through Instagram looking at, come to life in my store, which is pretty cool. One I've noticed for quite awhile now, that doesn't seem to go away, is all of the Pastel Princesses I've seen come through! So many adorable pastel heads of hair come through the store, and I drool in envy. My best friend and roommate are both Pastel QUEENS! Lacy usually floats somewhere between lavender, and silver purple; and Summer is either lavender, or platinum white blonde.
Because of how dark my hair naturally is, and how much dye and crap I have on my hair from past styles and colors I've done, it will be nearly impossible to have a mane of beautiful pastel hair! So, for now I can just admire from afar, and from my laptop screen as I scroll through Pinterest. My hair board on Pinterest is an overload of styles and colors, but here are a few of my favorite Pastel Princesses!
